Citrus Flower Milk Bath Recipe
This bath recipe is a blend of essential oils that makes for a flowery sweet combination and a nice feminine blend that is relaxing and rejuvenating.
1 drop lavender essential oil
3 drops rose geranium essential oil
3 drops sweet orange essential oil
1/4 cup dry milk (optional)
2 tsp sweet almond oil (optional)
Combine the lavender, rose geranium, and sweet orange essential oils and add to dry milk and/or sweet almond carrier oil if desired. The milk and almond oil will help to add moisture to the skin, leaving it feeling soft and silky. As citrus oils can be drying, this is especially good. Alternatively, you can just use the blend of essential oils in the water by themselves. If you have especially sensitive skin, you may wish to just use the lavender oil and not the rose geranium or orange.
Add the mixture to the warm bath after you have finished filling the tub and gently swish it around to distribute. Relax and soak in tub for 10 to 15 minutes. After done soaking, if you used the milk, it is recommended to rinse well. Be sure to rinse the tub as well.
Makes for a nice home-made gift as well. Just be sure to include instructions and precautions.
